Welcome to the Wichita Campus!
CLASS SCHEDULE:
Mondays 6-9pm beginning in September 2023
Most people don’t experience supernatural moments in their everyday lives. There is a big disconnect between their own experiences and those in stories of scripture or the lives of saints. If deep down you know Jesus Christ did not die for a powerless church, then you may be looking for the more that is promised by God. The Encounter School of Ministry can radically renew your mind and transform your life.

Made for More
The Encounter School of Ministry of Wichita is for anyone who wants to receive more of the Holy Spirit for themselves and the sake of others. Jesus gave His Church a task to be His witnesses “to the end of the earth” (Acts 1:8). Whenever Jesus gives us a task, He makes grace available to us for completing it – that is why He first promised they would “receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you.” (Acts 1:8) Would like to experience the power of the Holy Spirit? Would you like to share it with the people around you? Join us as we teach, equip, and activate missionary disciples who can confidently demonstrate the love of God through the power of the Holy Spirit in the middle of a hurting world hungry for God. You were made for this…made for more!
Campus Directors

DAVID GRAVER
Co-Director and Instructor
David grew up in Lancaster, Pennsylvania and attended DeSales University while earning his B.A. in theology and marriage and family studies. After graduating with a masters degree in Theological Studies from the Pontifical John Paul II Institute in Washington, DC, he moved to Wichita, Kansas in 2008. He has teaching theology in a Catholic high school ever since, along with creating artisan butcher-blocks for Graver Blocks. David enjoys gardening with his daughters and hopes to one day plant a vineyard.
ERIN GRAVER
Co-Director and Instructor
Erin studied theology and philosophy at Notre Dame before earning a masters degree in Theological Studies at the John Paul II Institute, where she met David. After they were married, they moved to Wichita, her hometown, where she has taught high school theology and is currently raising five children (4 girls and a new baby boy!) with David. Erin is passionate about seeing others step into their identity as sons and daughters of God.
This diocese has reviewed and welcomed Encounter Ministries.
The Encounter School of Ministry is open to Christians of all backgrounds—disciples who believe God calls them to demonstrate His supernatural love in their daily lives. Our curriculum and content is rooted in Catholic Tradition and faithful to Catholic teaching.
