The Blessing of Obedience

Last week I almost didn’t come to class. We had company all weekend, my youngest daughter was sick, and I was tired. It’s a 2-hour drive each way for me to come and on Tuesday I was going to have to come back this way to take my older daughter to a cardiology appointment at U of M. It was going to be a lot of driving. So I asked the Lord what He wanted me to do and ten minutes later I received a text from my niece reminding me that she was leading the pre-school worship that day. I knew then that the Lord wanted me to go. As things started to happen that made my day even crazier, I was able to peacefully take care of each thing and even get to class by 5:05 pm. The worship was phenomenal and I thought I couldn’t have felt more blessed. But then class started and Joe and Aaron prophesied over me from the stage at the beginning and I cannot fully express how much that meant to me and how loved I felt. The fact that God would make everything that happened to get me to class so I could receive that blessing could make me sob. Thank you for all of your hard work and obedience to God’s calling to make Encounter Ministries possible for all of us.
