USA and Abroad
We currently have three satellite campuses in Cincinnati, Ohio, Seattle, Washington and Madisonville, Louisiana. We are currently training new campus directors as we plan to launch 18 additional campuses in the fall of 2021, across the USA and abroad.
Distance Learning
Launched in 2020, our Online Campus quickly filled to capacity with students around the globe. While we encourage students to maximize their course experience by attending an onsite campus, the Holy Spirit is in no way limited as souls connect across the ocean seeking the “more” they desire.

The Encounter School of Ministry is open to Christians of all backgrounds—disciples who believe God calls them to demonstrate His supernatural love in their daily lives. Our curriculum and content is rooted in Catholic Tradition and faithful to Catholic teaching.

Main Campus
Our main campus is held at St. Patrick Catholic Church in Brighton, Michigan. Here resides the founders and instructors of the Encounter School of Ministry, Fr. Mathias Thelen and Patrick Reis. We are blessed to receive instruction and guidance from Dr. Mary Healy of Sacred Heart Major Seminary (Detroit), and are grateful to our friends at Renewal Ministries, Peter Herbeck and Ralph Martin, as well as Aaron Richards and Dan DeMatte of Damascus for contributing to the instruction of our students.
