Ministering to Others
A first-quarter activation was to think of our neighbors and write names down as they came to mind. The Lord reminded me of people I haven’t seen in a while and I contacted a lady that had abruptly loss her husband to cancer 6 weeks earlier. I was able to bring her the Holy Eucharist, pray for her, and listened to stories of her last days with her husband in the hospital. She shared we me some ways to Lord was moving in the situation. Listening to her and seeing her level of trust, peace and confidence in our Lord Jesus was very precious. She is my “neighbor” and I’m very grateful for this experience. We were both very encouraged and uplifted by the time shared together.
