Lay Hands on the Sick and They Will Recover!
Recently they came to our home before we left to go out to dinner. The wife told me how she has been suffering from vertigo for weeks and that she has been to a ENT doctor and they’ve run tests but couldn’t figure out what was wrong. They were still trying to figure out a course of action. Before I could stop myself, I crossed the chicken line and asked her if I could pray over her. She said yes immediately. And standing there with her coat still on, I prayed a simple prayer of healing, commanding in the name of Jesus her ears, and anything causing the vertigo to be healed. She didn’t feel anything while we prayed. We left after that to walk to dinner. For the remainder of the evening she was amazed at no vertigo! She sent me a note this morning that it is still gone and she always experienced it when going to bed and getting up! Praise God!
When we came back to our home after dinner, we sat and talked about God and how he loves us and wants a relationship with us. We asked if they would like to come to mass with us sometime (neither is Catholic) and she said yes! I praised God for answering our prayers of how to evangelize them and that his Great Commission in Mark 16:15-18 was fulfilled- whoever believes and is baptized “will lay hands on the sick and they will recover!”
