Online Campus Questions

Students will be assigned to an online classroom based, in part, on their preferred day to participate in a weekly, dynamic Zoom Room. Of the following, which session below works best for your schedule? We will do our best to accommodate your preference. *
Will you have access to local spiritual care and support? This could be formal as formal as having a spiritual director or as informal as attending a local small group or having a spiritually mature Christian friend who is willing to help you process through what you're learning and pray with you when you experience spiritual difficulties. *
Attendance Policy: Students are required to attend at least 6 out of 8 of your Encounter zoom groups each quarter. Can you confirm your ability to fulfill this requirement? *
Because some Zoom functions require participants to be logged into a Zoom account for them to be used, it is **essential that all online campus students have a Zoom account (even a free account) and that they always log into this account before joining their weekly, dynamic Zoom room.** This will greatly help your Online Classroom Mentor manage your weekly, dynamic Zoom room smoothly and without technical interruption. Student Profile and Tuition

NOTE: The Encounter School of Ministry does not currently offer scholarships or financial aid. It is the duty of each student to either pay or support raise their tuition expenses.
Students can listen to recordings of missed classes on the student dashboard.
Small groups: Each campus utilizes some form of small groups. Would you like to be considered to serve as a small group leader for weekly small group discussions? Small group leaders would be responsible for facilitating, encouraging conversation and ensuring healthy group dynamics during your small group prayer and discussions on homework, supplemental readings, and exercising the curriculum content. *
Encounter Students attend the annual Encounter Conference for no cost. Registration will be required during first quarter. The Encounter Conference is considered very important for the formation and ministry experience of our students.

Frais de scolarité
Les frais de scolarité pour l’année scolaire à venir sont de 250 $ par trimestre (avec un rabais si vous payez à l’année). Les livres obligatoires et les voyages sont en supplément.

Matériel de classe
Les étudiants recevront un classeur pour l’année qu’ils sont encouragés à apporter chaque semaine et à stocker leurs documents hebdomadaires, leurs lectures supplémentaires et leurs devoirs. Certains étudiants choisissent d’apporter un ordinateur portable pour prendre des notes, mais beaucoup ne le font pas. Nous vous encourageons à acheter vous-même un journal que vous pourrez utiliser en classe. Une fois que les étudiants sur place ont reçu leur badge, il est obligatoire de le porter à chaque cours et à toutes les missions auxquelles ils participent.

Période d’inscription
Les étudiants s’inscrivent et paient les frais de scolarité pour une année à la fois. Les cours commencent généralement à la mi-septembre et se terminent en mai. Les dates officielles et les heures de cours varient selon le campus. À la fin de la 2e année de l’École du ministère, les étudiants obtiennent leur diplôme.

Exigences de base

  • – Tous les étudiants doivent avoir au moins 18 ans ou plus (17 si un diplôme d’études secondaires)
    – Les chrétiens de toute affiliation sont les bienvenus
    – L’obtention du diplôme nécessite un minimum de 80% de présence en classe ET l’achèvement des devoirs + deux projets et une sortie de mission locale (évangélisation de rue)
