Online Campus Questions

Students will be assigned to an online classroom based, in part, on their preferred day to participate in a weekly, dynamic Zoom Room. Of the following, which session below works best for your schedule? We will do our best to accommodate your preference. *
Will you have access to local spiritual care and support? This could be formal as formal as having a spiritual director or as informal as attending a local small group or having a spiritually mature Christian friend who is willing to help you process through what you're learning and pray with you when you experience spiritual difficulties. *
Attendance Policy: Students are required to attend at least 6 out of 8 of your Encounter zoom groups each quarter. Can you confirm your ability to fulfill this requirement? *
Because some Zoom functions require participants to be logged into a Zoom account for them to be used, it is **essential that all online campus students have a Zoom account (even a free account) and that they always log into this account before joining their weekly, dynamic Zoom room.** This will greatly help your Online Classroom Mentor manage your weekly, dynamic Zoom room smoothly and without technical interruption. Student Profile and Tuition

NOTE: The Encounter School of Ministry does not currently offer scholarships or financial aid. It is the duty of each student to either pay or support raise their tuition expenses.
Students can listen to recordings of missed classes on the student dashboard.
Small groups: Each campus utilizes some form of small groups. Would you like to be considered to serve as a small group leader for weekly small group discussions? Small group leaders would be responsible for facilitating, encouraging conversation and ensuring healthy group dynamics during your small group prayer and discussions on homework, supplemental readings, and exercising the curriculum content. *
Encounter Students attend the annual Encounter Conference for no cost. Registration will be required during first quarter. The Encounter Conference is considered very important for the formation and ministry experience of our students.

Costo de la matrícula
La matrícula para el próximo año escolar es de US$250 por trimestre (con un descuento si paga el año completo por adelantado). Los libros requeridos y los viajes de misión tienen un costo adicional.

Lectura adicional

Material de apoyo
Los estudiantes recibirán una carpeta por cada año en la que se les anima a traer a cada sesión de clases para que puedan almacenar su material de apoyo y apuntes, sus lecturas suplementarias y las tareas completadas. Algunos estudiantes optan por traer una computadora portátil para tomar notas, pero no es lo más común. Le recomendamos que compre un cuaderno para uso personal en clase. Tan pronto los estudiantes presenciales reciben sus insignias, se les requiere que las tengan puestas y visibles en cada clase y en cualquier oportunidad de que tengan de ministrar.

Período de inscripción
Los estudiantes se inscriben y pagan la matrícula por un año a la vez. Las clases suelen comenzar a mediados de septiembre y duran hasta mayo. Las fechas oficiales y los horarios de clase varían según el campus. Al completar el segundo año de la Escuela de Encouter Ministries, los estudiantes se gradúan.

Requisitos Básicos

  • – Todos los estudiantes deben tener al menos 18 años de edad o más (17 si está graduado de la escuela secundaria)
    – Cristianos de cualquier denominación son bienvenidos
    – La graduación requiere un mínimo de 80% de asistencia a clase y tener finalizadas las tareas asignadas + haber realizados los dos proyectos ministeriales y una salida a evangelizar en su localidad (evangelización en las calles)
