learn to live a supernatural lifestyle

long-term discipleship

building trust

“Truly, truly, I say to you, he who believes in me will also do the works that I do; and greater works than these will he do, because I go to the Father.” – John 14:12

It is our mission to raise up disciples who are equipped to do “greater works,” and it was the Lord’s idea to use long-term discipleship for this training. Jesus spent three years with His disciples, teaching, training and walking with them.  Changing your mindset and lifestyle takes time, and you’re not meant to do it alone. The Encounter School of Ministry offers long-term discipleship and practical tools so you can make the supernatural life of the Holy Spirit a natural part of your everyday life, just as Jesus intended.

authentically catholic

Traditional & Charismatic

We believe the cultural division experienced in the Church between the “traditional” and “charismatic” is never what God intended. However, we can acknowledge there has been great misunderstanding and overall lack of formation regarding the use and purpose of the Spiritual gifts in the Church. We draw our teachings from scripture, tradition, official Church teaching, the lives of the early Church Fathers and the lives of the saints. We are convinced the Lord always intended for his baptized children to demonstrate the Kingdom of God through signs and wonders, just as He did – and we need these gifts now more than ever. Our curriculum has been reviewed by a team of theologians, as well as every bishop presiding over each satellite campus. You do NOT have to be Catholic to apply for the school.

learn to take risks

step out in faith

If you have never prayed for healing, struggle to hear God’s voice, have fear of sharing the Gospel to those you meet, or are seeking to understand the Church’s teaching on the Spiritual gifts – we understand, and so do your classmates. The Encounter School of Ministry is a safe place to begin taking risks in faith, while offering easy, practical tools and models that make discovering and practicing your gifts simple.

Onsite & Online
