Encounter Satellite Campuses

The Encounter School is expanding.

Invest in your ministry

Although every baptized Christian has been called into full time ministry, not every Christians is equipped.  We need to invest in our personal ministry callings.

MISSION

Drawing from the richness of our Catholic heritage and identity, we seek to teach, equip, activate and deploy disciples to be able to demonstrate the supernatural power and love of the kingdom of God in their spheres of influence.

ENVIRONMENT

Each class starts off with worship and/or testimonies. God is our focus, and we love to worship Him and be in His presence! In teaching and activating, the Encounter School uses a hands-on approach. Expect out-of-class assignments designed to help you implement what you have learned. Each session will show how to minister in a way that shows love and value and serves those whom we come in contact with everyday.

CULTURE

You can expect an inter-generational environment of students hungry to press into Jesus’ promise of doing the works he did and even greater ones.  Our students have ranged from 18-75. Our core values at the Encounter School are driven by creating a culture of honor that is defined by freedom, risk-taking, empowerment, respect, healthy boundaries, humility and docility. There is a high level of student interaction through activations, prayer and worship. It is the culture where empowered lifestyles are sustained, encouraged and empowered!

“ALTHOUGH WE UNDERSTAND THAT SIGNS, WONDERS AND MIRACLES ARE NOT THE WHOLE GOSPEL, WE ARE CONVINCED THAT THE GOSPEL IS NOT WHOLE WITHOUT THEM.“

How does the school work?

The Encounter School is a 2 year school of ministry with classes once a week on Monday evenings from 6pm – 9:00pm.  Apart from an atmosphere of faith and worship, the goal is to activate the gifts and tools necessary for ministry and to provide a safe environment to grow.  Each year is broken up into 4 quarters covering topics essential to supernatural ministry.

What is the application process?

All prospective students must apply online here on this site. The application is free.  Applications are open until all spots are filled. Any prospective students that are not accepted must wait until the following year to reapply.

Do I need to be committed to two years?

No.  After the first year, students will be able to choose whether or not they want to continue and finish their second year of the school.

What do I receive when I graduate?

Everyone who graduates will receive a Certificate of Ministry.  This certificate signifies completion of the requirements of the Encounter School of Ministry.

What content do the quarters cover?

Each quarter consists of 8 classes.  Completion of each quarter for credit requires attendance at 6 out of the 8 classes and completion of assigned homework (this is very minimal).  Homework is designed to put the ministry that you learn into practice in your daily life.

Q2 – Power and Healing

Q3 – Hearing God and the Prophetic Gifts

Q4 – Inner Healing and Freedom

Q5 –  Evangelization

What is the cost of tuition?

The tuition for the upcoming school year is $230 per quarter (with discount if you pay by the year) and includes admission to the Encounter Conference.  Required books and Mission Trips cost extra. In the event that a student withdraws from school, they may receive a prorated refund figured by calculating the remaining classes of school minus a withdrawal fee.

Are Scholarships available?

The Encounter School of Ministry does not currently offer scholarships but hopes to in the future. At present, it is the duty of each student to either pay or support raise their tuition expenses.

Can I start during any quarter?

It is the policy of the Encounter School that all students must start with the first quarter.

What is the best way to discern my enrollment in the Encounter School of Ministry?

The Encounter School is geared to students that are hungry to see the supernatrual ministry of Jesus break forth in their life. Each campus runs a summer intensive which provides a survery of the content that will be covered in the first four quarters.  We encourage all potential students to consider enrolling in the summer intensive.  Information for this will be on each campus page.

What are satellite campuses?

The Encounter School of Ministry has partnered with ministries in various cities to host Encounter School satellite campuses.  Each satellite campus presents that same content as the main campus in Brighton, MI.

How can I start an Encounter satellite campus?

If you are interested in working to partner with Encounter to open a satellite campus, please fill out this form and we will email you when the information and applications come available.
